NORTH CAROLINA — A Lenoir County man has been arrested on cocaine-related charges following a joint narcotics investigation by local law enforcement agencies.
According to the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office, 46-year-old Terrale Tarvone Moore was served with an outstanding arrest warrant on March 10 issued by the Greenville Police Department. The arrest stems from an ongoing investigation into the distribution of illegal controlled substances.
The investigation was conducted by the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit along with the Kinston Police Department’s Violent Crime Action Team.
Authorities said Moore is currently on federal probation for previous narcotics-related convictions.
As a result of the investigation, Moore has been charged with selling cocaine and delivering cocaine.
Following his arrest, Moore was transported to the Pitt County Magistrate’s Office, where he was given a $40,000 secured bond.
Officials say the investigation is part of ongoing efforts by local law enforcement agencies to address drug distribution in the area.
