
SOUTH CAROLINA — Deputies with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office arrested a woman Monday afternoon in connection with a burglary and stabbing on Hill Lane.
Authorities said deputies were called to the area around 12:18 p.m. for reports of a stabbing victim.
When they arrived, they found a person suffering from at least one stab wound. The victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to recover.
Investigators said 50-year-old Shelina Yeargin was taken into custody a short time later. Yeargin is accused of breaking into several homes on Hill Lane before stabbing a homeowner.
Deputies said Yeargin and the victim knew each other. She is facing multiple charges, including attempted murder.
