SOUTH CAROLINA — A woman has been arrested following a reported assault on Saturday, according to the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies have charged 30-year-old Erica McCall with public disorderly conduct and simple assault.
The charges stem from two related incidents in the Dovesville Highway and Gilchrist Road area involving a domestic situation.
According to investigators, McCall physically assaulted the victim while they were inside a vehicle.
The victim then fled the scene. Deputies later located and arrested McCall.
The sheriff’s office says additional charges may be filed as the investigation continues.
