
NORTH CAROLINA — A man has been arrested after police say he robbed a Goldsboro store with a handgun Thursday night.
According to the Goldsboro Police Department, officers responded around 9:53 p.m. to a report of a robbery with a dangerous weapon at 1 Stop Tobacco on North Berkeley Boulevard.
Police said a man entered the business, displayed a handgun and fled the store with property.
Authorities later arrested 30-year-old Kevin Debose in connection with the robbery.
Debose is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, second-degree kidnapping, possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a stolen motor vehicle.
Officials said Debose is being held without bond pending his first court appearance.
