NORTH CAROLINA — A Snow Hill man is facing felony charges after authorities say he stole and was later found driving a stolen vehicle in Pitt County.
According to the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office, 52-year-old Joey Eugene Ginn was arrested Monday, March 2. He is charged with felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle and felony larceny of a motor vehicle.
Arrest warrants state that Ginn is accused of stealing a red 2012 Honda Civic valued at approximately $8,000. The vehicle had been reported stolen to the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators say that on March 2, 2026, Ginn was operating the stolen vehicle after it had been reported missing.
Ginn was taken into custody and remains in the Pitt County Detention Center without bond. He is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday, March 3.
The investigation remains ongoing.
