KENTUCKY — A man was arrested Wednesday night after deputies recovered a stolen vehicle and discovered drugs on him during the arrest, according to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said they were alerted to a vehicle reported stolen out of Clarksville and later located it near Hugh Hunter Road at a gas station in Oak Grove. Authorities found 33-year-old Christopher Brown with the vehicle.
Brown reportedly told deputies that someone he identified only as “T” had been driving the vehicle but was unable to provide any additional information about the person.
Deputies said that while Brown was being processed at the jail, officers discovered drug-related items on him. Authorities reported finding a piece of aluminum foil with burnt residue in his pocket and three syringes concealed near his groin area. One of the syringes contained a substance believed to be fentanyl.
Brown was charged with possession of fentanyl, promoting contraband and receiving stolen property.
