NORTH CAROLINA — A Henderson County woman was arrested after allegedly stealing a truck belonging to the Town of Fletcher.
According to a Fletcher Police Department social media post, the truck was taken from a town-owned warehouse and later recovered.
April Dattler was apprehended on Nov. 22 and faces multiple charges, including breaking and entering a building, breaking and entering a motor vehicle, felony larceny, larceny of a motor vehicle, and financial card theft. She is being held at the Henderson County Detention Center without bond.
The Fletcher Police Department said the arrest was made with assistance from the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office.
Police noted that deputies initially discovered the truck while responding to an unrelated call, which led to the investigation.
