ALABAMA — A Huntsville man was arrested Tuesday night after allegedly firing gunshots into an apartment complex on Patton Road.
According to the Huntsville Police Department, officers responded to reports of gunfire around 11 p.m. in the 4300 block of Patton Road.
When officers arrived, they discovered that one of the apartments had been struck by bullets.
Authorities confirmed that people were inside the unit at the time, but no injuries were reported.
While searching the area, officers found shell casings outside a window of a nearby apartment.
The individuals inside that apartment were detained as part of the ongoing investigation.
Police have not yet released the name of the suspect or the charges filed. The investigation remains active.
