OHIO — Authorities seized a large quantity of drugs, firearms and cash after executing search warrants at two properties in Montgomery County, according to the Dayton Police Department.
Police said detectives served warrants Thursday at homes in the 2300 block of Rustic Road and the 3100 block of Silver Rock Avenue in Vandalia. Officials said both searches are connected to the same ongoing investigation.
During the searches, detectives reported seizing approximately 553.5 grams of fentanyl, 84 grams of methamphetamine, 2.5 grams of crack cocaine and 5 grams of unknown pills. Authorities also recovered two pistols and about $11,000 in cash.
According to police, a suspect in the case is expected to face federal charges. Officials have not released the suspect’s identity.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no additional details were immediately available.
