
ARIZONA — One person was taken into custody after authorities discovered a suspected methamphetamine lab in Buckeye, according to police.
Officials said the lab was located near the intersection of Watson and McDowell roads on April 2.
According to the Buckeye Police Department, the discovery was made when Phoenix Police Department, assisted by the Buckeye Police SWAT team, executed a search warrant at the location.
Authorities said the Maricopa County Drug Suppression Task Force responded to process and dismantle the suspected lab.
No additional details about the individual taken into custody or potential charges have been released.
Officials said the investigation remains ongoing.
