ALABAMA — Authorities say a man was arrested in Mobile County after a multi-state car chase that began in Mississippi early Thursday morning.
According to the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office, deputies assisted law enforcement from Jackson County, Mississippi, in pursuing a suspect who drove across state lines while traveling eastbound on Interstate 10. The chase ended around 6:40 a.m. on Feb. 19 in the Grand Bay area.
Deputies stopped the vehicle and detained the suspect at the scene. Officials said the individual was later taken into custody and transported to the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office southside precinct in Theodore.
No additional details about the suspect or potential charges were immediately released. Authorities said the case remains developing and further information will be provided as it becomes available.
