NORTH CAROLINA — A 24-year-old Jacksonville woman is facing multiple charges after deputies say she intentionally crashed her vehicle into her ex-husband’s car while her children were inside with her.
Sharon Leslie was arrested on Monday, August 4, by the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office, according to arrest warrants.
Leslie is charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of misdemeanor child abuse, and a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.
According to online records, she deliberately struck her ex-husband’s vehicle while he was driving.
Warrants indicate that Leslie had two children under the age of 16 in her vehicle at the time of the incident.
She is currently being held without bond at the Onslow County Detention Center.
