PENNSYLVANIA — A man is in custody after leading Pennsylvania State Police on a 10-mile chase in a stolen vehicle on April 28.
According to State Police, troopers attempted to stop a silver 1994 Chevrolet pickup truck that had committed multiple traffic violations. The vehicle had also been reported stolen.
When the driver refused to pull over, a pursuit ensued, ending on Interstate 81 North after troopers performed a PIT maneuver to stop the vehicle.
The driver reportedly refused to exit the truck and was subdued with a Taser.
He did not provide any identifying information at the time of his arrest and is currently being referred to as “John Doe,” police said.
The suspect was taken to Dauphin County Prison, where he is being held without bail. The investigation is ongoing.
