OHIO — One person was airlifted and two others were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash in Darke County on Friday evening, according to the sheriff’s office.
The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Children’s Home-Bradford Road and Horatio-New Harrison Road.
Investigators said a 2021 Chevrolet Suburban, driven by a 38-year-old Franklin man, was traveling east on Children’s Home-Bradford Road when it failed to yield at a stop sign and was struck by a 2020 Toyota Tacoma heading south. The Tacoma was driven by a 56-year-old Bradford man.
The Suburban’s driver was taken to Wayne Hospital, while his passengers — a 36-year-old woman and three juveniles — were not injured. The Tacoma’s driver was flown by CareFlight to Upper Valley Medical Center, and his passenger, a 55-year-old woman, was transported to Wayne Hospital.
Officials said all injuries are non-life-threatening. The crash remains under investigation.
