One injured following Wednesday evening shooting in Columbus

COLUMBUS — One person was injured in a shooting in the Northland neighborhood of northeast Columbus on Wednesday evening, according to police.

Officers from the Columbus Division of Police responded to a call about a shooting in the 1900 block of East Dublin Granville Road at approximately 5:20 p.m.

The victim was transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital in critical condition.

However, police later reported that the individual’s condition had stabilized.

No suspect information has been released, and the circumstances leading to the shooting remain unclear.

The investigation is ongoing.
