OHIO — Montgomery County deputies are investigating a head-on crash that left one person dead and two others injured Sunday night.
The collision occurred shortly after 8:33 p.m. in the 5000 block of Germantown Pike, also known as State Route 4 in Jefferson Township.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, a blue Chevrolet Impala traveling south crossed the center line and collided head-on with a northbound black Toyota 4Runner.
The driver of the Impala was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the 4Runner were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators noted no signs of impairment on the part of the 4Runner’s driver.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Services Unit is continuing its investigation into the crash.
