COLUMBUS — A 30-year-old woman was killed and two people were injured in a crash early Sunday morning on Interstate 270 in southeast Columbus.
The Columbus Division of Police reported that the crash occurred just before 2:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-270, south of Interstate 70.
Taquajah Page, 30, was driving a Mazda 6 in the right lane and attempted to turn left into the emergency turnaround to head northbound when her vehicle was struck by another vehicle in the left lane.
Page was pronounced dead at 2:37 a.m. at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle was unharmed, but two passengers were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. Their injuries are not life-threatening, according to police.
The crash remains under investigation.
