OHIO — A shooting in the Weinland Park neighborhood Monday night left one person dead.

The incident occurred around 8:29 p.m. on the 1200 block of North Fourth Street, near Weinland Park Elementary School, according to a Columbus police dispatcher.

The victim was transported to Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead at 9:10 p.m.

Authorities have not released details about what led to the shooting, and no suspect information is available at this time.
