One arrested after stabbing person, stealing car in Ohio

OHIO — A Toledo man was arrested Saturday night after allegedly stabbing a woman and stealing her vehicle, police said.

Jonathan Brown, 38, is charged with felonious assault with a weapon and theft of a motor vehicle.

According to charging documents, Brown used a knife to “stab and cut up” a woman he knows on Aug. 9 before fleeing the scene in her car.

Authorities have not released information on the victim’s condition or the location of the incident. Brown is scheduled to appear before a judge on Monday morning. The investigation remains ongoing.
