OHIO — Ohioans eager to visit the state’s first Buc-ee’s will have to wait a little longer.
The highly anticipated travel center, located at 8000 State Route 235 in Huber Heights, is now expected to open in spring 2026.
The project broke ground on August 8, 2024, with local officials and Buc-ee’s representatives highlighting the economic and commercial growth the store would bring.
However, construction faced delays in November 2024 due to a dispute between the city of Huber Heights and Clark County over sewer and water services.
That issue was resolved, allowing work to resume in December.
Once complete, the Buc-ee’s will feature 100 fueling positions, 24 EV charging stations, and a massive selection of food, beverages, and retail items.
The location was initially set to open by the end of 2025.
