OHIO — A 34-year-old woman lost her life in a two-vehicle crash on Portage Street NW in Stark County, the Jackson Township Police Department (JTPD) confirmed.

The crash occurred at approximately 1:05 p.m. on Dec. 29 in the 5400 block of Portage Street NW.

According to JTPD, Angel Burlingame was driving a 2018 Kia Rio westbound when she crossed the centerline and collided with an eastbound 2014 Dodge Ram.

The driver of the Dodge, a 47-year-old man, sustained minor injuries.

Burlingame was transported by the Jackson Township Fire Department to Mercy Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries.

Police stated that drugs and alcohol are not suspected as contributing factors.

The crash remains under investigation.
