Ohio woman, 24, dead following two-vehicle crash

OHIO — A 24-year-old woman from Ohio died Tuesday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 75 in Whitley County, Kentucky.

The crash occurred around 3:16 p.m., according to Kentucky State Police (KSP).

Preliminary reports indicate that a southbound semi-truck was struck by a Ford F-150.

The driver of the F-150 was transported to a hospital, where he was treated for injuries and later released.

However, the passenger, identified as Addison Bailey, 24, of Fayetteville, Ohio, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

KSP Trooper Shane Bowling is leading the ongoing investigation into the crash.
