OHIO — A 21-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run early Thursday morning on Stelzer Road in northeast Columbus, according to the Columbus Division of Police.
Officers responded to reports of a pedestrian struck in the 700 block of Stelzer Road.
The victim, identified as Nakia Lawrence, was crossing the street when she was hit by a vehicle traveling southbound.
Medics arrived on the scene and pronounced Lawrence dead.
The vehicle involved fled the scene, and no information about it has been released.
