OHIO — A recent Washington Post poll conducted from October 3-7, 2024, among 1,002 likely voters in Ohio reveals that Donald Trump holds a six-point lead over Vice President Kamala Harris in a hypothetical presidential matchup.

In Ohio’s critical U.S. Senate race, the poll shows a near tie between Democratic incumbent Sherrod Brown and Republican challenger Bernie Moreno.
Brown holds a slight edge with 48% of likely voters, while Moreno has 47%. Only 1% of respondents indicated they would not vote, and 3% did not express a preference.
The poll’s margin of error again stands at ±3.5 percentage points, making the race too close to call.
