Ohio student dead following vehicle crash

OHIO — A fifth-grade student at Willard PK-8 in the Warren City School District has died following a tragic car accident, according to a district spokesperson.

The identity of the student has not been released at this time out of respect for the family’s privacy.

The school district is offering counseling services to students and staff as they cope with the loss.

Additional support personnel have been made available at Willard PK-8 to assist those grieving.

The district is expected to continue offering support in the days ahead as the school community mourns the loss of one of its own.
