According to school officials, the 16-year-old student was taken into custody at school on Thursday.
The alleged threat occurred Wednesday afternoon at a bus stop and was directed at a student from Mason Early Childhood Center.
Court documents state that the suspect told the victim, “I know where you live, I’m gonna bring my gun and walk in your bedroom.” The victim also reported that the student threatened to “shoot [them] in the head.”
Investigators used footage from a school bus camera to identify the suspect before making the arrest.
The student is scheduled to appear in court Friday afternoon.
