OHIO — Grief counselors will be available Sunday at Versailles High School for students, staff, and families following the death of eighth-grader Wesley Breeze.
The Versailles Exempted Village School District announced that the High School gym, located at 280 Marker Road, will open at 1 p.m. and remain available for as long as needed.
“It is with the permission of the family and with a very heavy heart that I share this information,” the district wrote.
“This afternoon, Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, 8th grader Wesley Breeze passed away. We will have grief counselors available at school tomorrow (Sunday) in the High School gym for students and families who wish to come together in support of each other and of the Breeze family. Anyone is welcome.”
The district encouraged students, families, and staff to come together for support during this difficult time.
