OHIO — Adams County/Ohio Valley Schools will operate on a two-hour delay on Thursday, December 4, 2025, school officials announced.
The district issued the delay on Wednesday evening to give transportation staff and families additional time to prepare for the start of the school day.
While the district did not immediately specify the reason for the schedule change, delays are commonly implemented during the winter months due to weather conditions, bus safety concerns, or operational needs.
All morning bus routes and class times will begin two hours later than normal. Parents are encouraged to check the district’s website or local media outlets for any further updates regarding Thursday’s schedule.
Any other closings and delays will be added as they come in.
