Ohio restaurants offering free meals, discounts on Veteran’s Day

OHIO — Ohio businesses are honoring veterans and active-duty military members this Veterans Day with a variety of special offers and discounts.

Across the state, many restaurants are providing free meals, drinks, or desserts to thank those who have served. Here’s a look at some deals available in Ohio for Veterans Day on November 11, 2024.

Free Meals and Treats

Applebee’s: Veterans and active-duty military can enjoy a free meal from a select menu at participating locations. Dine-in only.

Bar Louie: Free Craft Burger for veterans and active-duty military with a valid ID. Dine-in only.

Biggby Coffee: Free 16oz latte (hot, iced, or frozen) for veterans and active-duty members with military ID.

Bob Evans: Veterans and active-duty personnel receive a free meal from a select menu. Dine-in only.

Buffalo Wild Wings: Free order of 10 boneless wings and fries for veterans and active-duty service members. Available for dine-in or walk-in orders at GO locations.

California Pizza Kitchen: Complimentary meal from a select menu for veterans and active-duty military, plus a “Buy One, Get One Free” voucher to use later.

Chili’s: Veterans and active-duty military receive a free meal from a limited menu. Dine-in only with military ID.

Denny’s: Free Original Grand Slam breakfast from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. for veterans and active-duty personnel. Dine-in only.

Dunkin’: Free donut for veterans and active-duty military while supplies last. Available in-store only.

Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers: Participating locations are giving veterans and active-duty military a meal card for a free combo meal, redeemable through December 31, 2024.

Golden Corral: Veterans can enjoy a free “thank you” meal during the Military Appreciation Night event from 5 p.m. to close.

IHOP: Free Red, White, and Blueberry Pancake Combo available for veterans and active-duty military from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Little Caesars: Complimentary Lunch Combo, including Detroit-style Deep Dish pizza and a drink, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for veterans and active-duty military.

Olive Garden: Free entrée from a special menu for veterans and active-duty military, dine-in only.

Starbucks: Veterans, military members, and spouses receive a free tall (12 oz.) brewed coffee, hot or iced.

    Discounts

    Fogo de Chão: 50% off the Full Churrasco Experience for veterans and active-duty military, with a 10% discount for up to three guests.

    LongHorn Steakhouse: Veterans and active-duty military get 10% off their meal, plus a free appetizer or dessert on November 10 and 11.

    Metro Diner: 50% off meals for veterans and active-duty military with valid ID.

    QDOBA: 50% off any full-size entrée for veterans and active-duty military at participating locations, with ID.

    TooJay’s: 25% off for veterans and active-duty military on their total bill for dine-in or takeout.

      Veterans should bring military ID or other proof of service to qualify for these offers. Participating locations and terms may vary, so it’s advised to call ahead.
