OHIO — Firefighters from multiple departments responded to a fire early Tuesday morning at Cardinals Sports Bar and Grill in Mentor-on-the-Lake, Lake County.

The fire broke out around 5 a.m. at the bar located on Andrews Road, with flames visible shooting through the building’s roof.

Cardinals Sports Bar and Grill recently underwent renovations under new ownership over the summer, according to the restaurant’s Facebook page.

As of now, there is no word on any injuries or the extent of the damage.

Firefighters remain on the scene.
