OHIO — Law enforcement agencies in northwest Ohio executed seven search warrants on Wednesday, seizing stolen vehicles, suspected drugs, and other illegal items in Sandusky, Wood, and Seneca counties.
The operation stemmed from an investigation that began last year after trailers were reported stolen in Hancock County.
Authorities later discovered connections to additional crimes involving multiple suspects, the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.
Twenty-one law enforcement units assisted in executing warrants at locations in Risingsun, Fostoria, Kansas, and Wayne.
Officers recovered a stolen skid-steer loader, a vehicle with a stolen license plate, suspected methamphetamine and fentanyl, a credit card skimmer, electronic devices, and ledgers.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no arrests have been announced.
