OHIO — The Marion Police Department has announced the passing of K9 Stash, a dedicated service dog who spent his entire 10-year career with the MARMET Drug Task Force.

Stash retired at the end of 2024 and passed away peacefully at home on Monday.

Stash played a vital role in law enforcement efforts, assisting officers in drug detection and investigations throughout his years of service.

The department extended its condolences to his handler, Colin Lowe, as well as his previous handler, Andy Isom, and their families.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with his handler,” the department said in a statement.
