OHIO — Several nursing home patients were relocated early Thursday morning after a fire broke out at Kingston of Miamisburg in Ohio.
Miami Valley Fire District firefighters responded around 1 a.m. to the facility on the 1100 block of Dunaway Street.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire at the rear of one of the outside buildings.
Firefighters wheeled some patients outside during the response.
Several residents suffered minor injuries, including smoke inhalation and burns.
No firefighters were injured.
Moraine and Washington Township fire departments provided mutual aid. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
