OHIO — An 18-year-old suspect wanted for aggravated murder in Richmond Heights was arrested Tuesday morning by the U.S. Marshals-led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF).
Keyon Stephens, 18, was taken into custody at a residence on the 800 block of Ruple Road in Cleveland.
He was wanted in connection with the September 7, 2024, shooting death of 29-year-old Dewon Que’Shawn Lee.
According to the Richmond Heights Police Department, officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex on the 100 block of Ruth Ellen Drive.
Lee was found deceased in the parking lot with gunshot wounds.
Following an investigation, authorities identified Stephens as a suspect, leading to a warrant for his arrest.
“Our task force continues to have a strong partnership with the Richmond Heights Police Department,” said U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott. “Today was another example of our partnership leading to the arrest of a wanted, violent fugitive.”
The NOVFTF consists of multiple federal, state, and local agencies working together to apprehend fugitives.
