OHIO — An Ohio man accused of fatally shooting his father has been formally charged.
Daniel Davis Jr., 22, of Union Township, was indicted on Wednesday, Jan. 8, on multiple charges, including one count of aggravated murder, three counts of murder, and two counts of felonious assault.
Police say Davis Jr. admitted to shooting his father, 54-year-old Daniel Davis Sr., during an argument inside a detached garage on their property along West Monroe-Concord Road.
Davis Jr. reportedly confessed twice: first during a 911 call immediately after the incident and again during an interview with police.
Davis Jr. is being held in the Miami County Jail on a $3 million bond.
His arraignment is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 13, at 9 a.m.
