OHIO — The Ohio Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash involving a wrong-way driver on Saturday afternoon.

According to the Highway Patrol, Trent Clark, 31, of Waynesburg, was driving a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox south in the northbound lane of state Route 43 when his vehicle collided head-on with a 2020 Chevrolet Blazer.

The crash occurred just after 1 p.m. near Waynesburg Drive SE.

Clark was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders, the Highway Patrol said in a news release.
