OHIO — A 28-year-old man from Frankfort was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Friday morning, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP).
The incident occurred just before 2:10 a.m. on Norman Hill Road. Authorities say Kyler Mootz was driving a 2002 Ford F-350 northbound when his vehicle veered off the left side of the road.
The truck struck a guardrail and a culvert, causing it to overturn.
Mootz was transported to Adena Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Ross County Sheriff’s Office and the Concord Township Fire and EMS assisted OSHP in processing the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
