OHIO — An EMS worker was attacked early Tuesday morning in Cleveland while transporting a stabbing victim to the hospital.
According to Cleveland EMS, the incident occurred around 3 a.m. when the patient became aggressive and assaulted the EMS worker treating him in the back of the ambulance.
The worker quickly radioed for help, prompting the driver to pull over.
Multiple responding units arrived at the scene to assist in controlling the patient.
The EMS worker was not seriously injured, and the situation was brought under control.
Officials have not released further details about the patient or any potential charges.
