OHIO — Authorities are investigating a crash that occurred early Sunday morning on South Avenue near the Front Street intersection in Youngstown.
At approximately 3 a.m., a car collided with a utility pole, prompting a response from emergency crews.
Firefighters had to use specialized equipment to free the driver from the wrecked vehicle.
Despite the dramatic rescue, officials reported that the driver did not sustain serious injuries.
However, the individual was transported to a nearby hospital as a precaution for further evaluation.
