NORTH CAROLINA — A Rowan County high school student is being mourned after her death this week, according to school officials.
Victoria “Tori” Overcash, a senior at J.C. Carson High School in China Grove, died in what officials described as a tragic loss. The cause of her death has not been released.
In a statement, North Hills Christian School expressed condolences to Overcash’s family and the Carson High community, saying, “Our hearts break for her family and the entire Carson High community. When one school in Rowan County grieves, we all feel it.”
