NORTH CAROLINA — Nine people were injured Saturday morning in a crash on Interstate 485, according to Medic.
The crash was reported around 8:30 a.m. on the outer loop near the Pineville-Matthews exit.
Officials said eight people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, while one person suffered serious injuries.
Authorities have not released details on what caused the crash, and the incident remains under investigation.
