New Jersey school closings and delays for Monday

NEW JERSEY — Many school districts across southern New Jersey will operate on delayed schedules on Monday, December 15, 2025, due to early morning conditions.

The majority of affected schools will open two hours later than normal, giving families and staff additional time to travel safely.

In Salem County, Alloway Township School District, Elsinboro Township School District, and Lower Alloways Creek Township School District will open two hours late, while Penns Grove–Carneys Point Regional School District will operate on a modified schedule with a 1½-hour delay.

In Cumberland County, Downe Township School District and Fairfield Township School District will both open two hours late.

Numerous Burlington County districts are also impacted, including Burlington City Public School District, Burlington Township School District, Burlington County Institute of Technology, Burlington County Special Services, Lenape Regional School District, Medford Township Public Schools, Mount Holly Township School District, Pemberton Township School District, Rancocas Valley Regional School District, Shamong Township School District, and several specialized schools, all opening two hours late. Center for Education will open one hour late, while Hampton Academy will open 1½ hours late.

In Camden and Gloucester counties, school districts including Camden City, Black Horse Pike Regional, Clementon, Winslow Township, Clearview Regional, Deptford Township, Mantua Township, Logan Township, Pitman, Washington Township, Swedesboro-Woolwich, and others will also open two hours late. Families are encouraged to monitor district communications for any additional updates.
