FLORIDA — Authorities are investigating a school bus crash that occurred Monday in Okeechobee County.
According to Okeechobee County Schools, the bus was carrying high school students when the crash happened on Highway 70 West near 128th Avenue.
The district said no life-threatening injuries were reported, but some students were taken to the hospital as a precaution. Parents of the students involved have been notified.
The Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office said the roadway remains closed while the investigation continues.
