PENNSYLVANIA — Numerous schools across Pennsylvania are experiencing delays or closures for Wednesday, February 12, due to inclement weather.
Many districts and institutions in Montgomery, Bucks, Delaware, Chester, and Philadelphia counties have announced modified schedules for the day.
Several school districts, including Abington, Cheltenham, Hatboro-Horsham, North Penn, and Perkiomen Valley in Montgomery County, as well as Neshaminy and Bensalem Township in Bucks County, will open two hours late.
The Philadelphia School District and multiple charter schools in the city are also following a two-hour delay.
A few schools have opted for virtual learning, including the Jenkintown School District, Norristown Area School District, Pathway School, and Russell Byers Charter School.
The Independence Charter School West, SE Delco School District, and Pennsylvania Institute of Technology will also be fully remote for the day.
Additionally, some institutions have closed entirely, such as DEC – Willow Grove, Prep Charter High School, and William Penn School District.
