OHIO — Several Ohio school districts have announced closures and delays for the upcoming school day on Tuesday, February 18.
Closures:
Brooklyn City Schools (Cuyahoga County), Canton City Schools (Stark County), and Canton College Preparatory (Stark County) will be closed.
Cleveland Arts and Social Sciences (Cuyahoga County), Constellation Schools: Lorain Community Elementary and Middle (Lorain County), Ginn Thompson School for Girls (Cuyahoga County), Horizon Science Academy-Lorain (Lorain County), Lorain Bilingual Academy, Lorain Preparatory Academy, and Monroe Preparatory Academy (Erie County) will also be closed.
Additionally, St. Mary-Massillon, St. Thomas Aquinas – Louisville, Summit Academy-Lorain Elementary, and Wright Preparatory Academy (Stark County) will be closed.
Lorain Preparatory High School (Lorain County) and Spectrum Resource Center and School (Lorain County) will remain closed through tomorrow.
Delays:
Ashland City Schools and Loudonville-Perrysville Exempted Schools (Ashland County) will have a two-hour delay. Black River Local Schools (Medina County) will also operate on a two-hour delay.
Buckeye Central Local Schools (Crawford County), Indian Lake Local Schools (Logan County), New Lexington City Schools (Perry County), Ridgemont Local Schools (Hardin County), and Ridgewood Local Schools (Coshocton County) will all have two-hour delays.
