OHIO — Several schools across Ohio have announced closings or delayed openings for Tuesday, December 2, as winter weather and safety concerns continue to impact the region.
Lakeland Community College (Kirtland) and Lake College will be closed. Clark State College will open two hours late.
Dayton Christian School, Fairlawn Local Schools, and Good Neighbor House will be closed for the day. St. Benedict The Moor Catholic School in Montgomery will also remain closed.
Other schools reporting delayed openings include Piqua 7th Day Adventist School in Miami, Victory Christian School in Urbana, Rock Hill Local Schools, Oak Hill Union, and Bright Local School District, all of which will start classes two hours later than usual. Fairview Independent Schools will be closed Tuesday.
School officials are advising students, parents, and staff to check individual school websites or local announcements for any updates. They also encourage caution on roads during morning commutes and remind the community that student and staff safety is the top priority.
