INDIANA — A winter storm across parts of Indiana has prompted multiple school districts and preschools to announce delays and closures for Monday, December 1, 2025.
Several districts will operate on a two-hour delay, including:
Alexandria Community School Corp; Anderson Community School Corp; Anderson Preparatory Academy; Elkhart Community Schools; Excel Center Elkhart; Lakeland Schools; LIFE Preschool (no AM classes for 5-day, 3-day extended; Stay-n-Play begins at 11:30 a.m.); Middlebury Community Schools; Prairie Heights Schools; Tippecanoe Valley Schools; Wawasee Community Schools.
Clinton Central School Corporation; Elwood Community School Corp; Frankfort Community Schools; Frankton-Lapel Community Schools; Frontier School Corp; Logansport Community Schools; Maconaquah School Corporation; Madison-Grant United School Corp; Mississinewa Community School Corp; South Madison Community School Corp; and Tippecanoe School Corp.
Baugo Community Schools, Concord Community Schools, Goshen Community Schools, Premier Arts Academy (no Before Care), and Walnut Hill Early Childhood Center will also open two hours late.
Hively Avenue Preschool will operate on a one-hour delay.
Several schools are fully closed Monday, including Marcellus Community Schools and Marian University’s Ancilla College, which will observe an e-learning day.
Pendleton Christian Church Preschool is operating on a two-hour delay.
Families are encouraged to check with their districts for any additional updates throughout the day.
