YOUNGSTOWN — Two people were injured in a crash Monday afternoon near the entrance of the Center Street Bridge.
The accident occurred just before 2 p.m. at the intersection of Shirley Road and Center Street.
One of the injured individuals was taken to the hospital, while another reported injuries at the scene.
Police believe the crash may have been caused by one of the vehicles failing to yield.
The exact cause remains under investigation.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area as authorities continue their work.
