ALABAMA — Multiple law enforcement agencies served arrest warrants across Marshall County early Wednesday morning as part of a coordinated drug investigation.

The Marshall County Drug Task Force, working with the FBI, carried out the operation with assistance from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, the Albertville Police Department and the Boaz Police Department.

Authorities said officers served several warrants in Boaz, Albertville and Guntersville. Investigators have not released how many people were arrested or what charges the suspects could face.

Boaz police confirmed one arrest occurred at a home on Stephens Street. A large hole was visible in the front door of the house following the operation. Officials said the suspect at that location was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Boaz Police Department for processing.

Deputies with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office also helped execute several other warrants across the county. Officials said everyone involved in the operation was taken into custody safely.

Investigators say the case remains under investigation, and additional information may be released later. Authorities also said there is no ongoing threat to the public.
