TEXAS — Multiple people were arrested after a large party attended by hundreds of teens and young adults prompted a police response Saturday night, according to authorities.
Celina Police Chief John Cullison said officers were called to a home in the 800 block of Choate Parkway, where an estimated 500 to 800 people had gathered.
During the initial response, police arrested one minor for driving under the influence and another individual on an outstanding aggravated assault warrant out of Dallas County.
Authorities said officers remained in the area as attendees began leaving the party. During that time, multiple gunshots were reported near the home.
Police entered the residence to search for potential victims but said no one was found to have been injured by gunfire.
Cullison said the incident highlights the risks associated with large, unsupervised gatherings, particularly those involving underage drinking or substance use.
The investigation remains ongoing.
